AirPrint, Mopria and mobile printing

AirPrint

AirPrint enables users to print photos and documents from their MacBook, iMac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch without having to install additional software (drivers).

All our office printers have AirPrint enabled, so it is easy to print from any Apple device. Alternatively, if you prefer, this option can also be switched off to restrict unauthorised use.

Mopria

The Mopria Print Service offers the same print features for people using an Android smart phone or tablet. Android users just need to download the Mopria Print Service app from Google Play and works in a very similar way to AirPrint, which is ideal for businesses and school that use tablet computers.

Mopria Print Service is available on all our office printers, but includes the option to switch the feature on or off as required.

Send Printing to your Office Printer from any device

The ability to print from a mobile or tablet device offers significant benefits to business customers. This convenient feature allows anyone on your network to print documents on the go, whether they work in your office or as a guest, making it easier to access and share important information at any time.

In addition to AirPrint and Mopria, most printer manufacturers have created their own Apps for Android and iOS. These free of charge apps offer additional features, controls and security, including scanning from your printer directly to your mobile phone or tablet. Some very good examples of these Apps are Toshiba’s e-Bridge Print & Capture App and Ricoh’s Smart Device Connector, which also allow you to print from and scan to your Cloud storage such as Google Drive.
